DRESS CODE AND ORDERS
Definition of Formal, Smart Casual and Casual Dress Code

FORMAL
Formal dress code includes dinner jacket, suit, long sleeve Batik, National Dress or a long sleeved shirt (i.e. a shirt with a straight bottom edge and no tail) and if the shirt is tucked in, it should be worn with a tie with long trousers and shoes. Shoes are defined as footwear covering the whole foot and shall be worn with socks in the context of Formal dress code.

SMART CASUAL
Smart Casual Dress requires a collared shirt (i.e. a shirt with a straight bottom edge) or collared T-shirt with long trousers and shoes. Shoes are defined as footwear covering the whole foot.

CASUAL DRESS
Casual Dress requires a T-shirt (i.e. collared or round neck) and shorts with shoes or sandals.

PATIO
Patio’s dress code is ‘Casual’ but no swim wear; bathrobes, sleeveless T-shirts, and or towels are to be worn, unless the person is merely passing through.

MEN’S BAR
The dress code in the Men’s Bar is ‘Smart Casual’ at all times except for Saturdays/Sundays/Public

Holidays where the dress code ‘Casual’ applies until 7pm.

DOLPHIN BAR, DOLPHIN LOUNGE
The dress code in the Dolphin Bar and Dolphin Lounge is ‘Smart Casual’ at all times except for Saturdays/Sundays/Public Holidays where the dress code ‘Casual’ applies till 7pm.

THE LOUNGE (MIX BAR)
The dress code in The Lounge (Mix Bar) is ‘Smart Casual’ at all times except for Saturdays/Sundays/Public Holidays where the dress code ‘Casual’ applies till 7pm.  Children below the age of 16 are not allowed inside The Lounge (Mix Bar) after 10pm.

TYPES OF APPAREL NOT PERMITTED IN THE CLUB FOR BOTH ADULT MALE AND FEMALE
i}  Singlets (eg Tank tops,  Pagoda singlets) and sleeveless T-shirts,  except children below 7 years old,  or
ii} Torn clothes,  or
iii} Slippers (Japanese slippers/flip flops)

HANDPHONES AND SMOKING
The use of ‘‘Hand phones’’ is not permitted at Family Dining, Main Dining and Sunken Verandah at all times, but is permitted at Dolphin Lounge, Dolphin Bar, Patio, Lobby Lounge, Men’s Bar, Mixed Bar, Gymnasium and Club surroundings. “Smoking’’ is strictly prohibited at the Lobby Lounge, Family Dining, Main Dining, Sunken Verandah, Mixed Bar, Gymnasium and Sauna under any circumstances except at designated locations.

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS, BOYS, GIRLS AND GUEST
The Committee reserves the right to designate the Dress Code at Special Functions which applies to all Members, Guests and Children above 12 years of age. The form of Dress Code will be communicated accordingly.
